A gentle beginning
Arrival and free play
For children typically ages 5 months to 3.5 years, our community brings together caring relationships, creativity, and the everyday work of play.

Our child-centered approach supports cognitive, emotional, social, and physical development through play.
Open-ended materials, sensory experiences, stories, art, and movement give children many ways to explore and express themselves. Respect for individual differences is at the heart of our philosophy.
Explore our philosophyStories, movement, making, and discovery offer many ways to learn. Experiences depend on each child’s age and readiness; talk with us about the activities offered for your child.
Textures, materials, and hands-on exploration invite children to notice, experiment, and express their curiosity.
Arts, crafts, and process-focused exploration give children ways to create without needing every result to look the same.
Songs, rhythm, and movement create shared moments of expression, listening, and joyful physical activity.
Books, songs, and group games make room for imagination, communication, and connections with one another.
Songs and circle-time experiences introduce children to Spanish in the context of the program’s daily activities.
Outdoor play and nature awareness encourage children to observe their surroundings and explore movement.
Yoga and physical activities offer opportunities to move, stretch, and practice body awareness.
Manipulating toys, building, making art, and other play experiences create opportunities to practice fine motor skills.
Seasonal themes, pretend play, and open-ended materials invite new ideas and individual self-expression.
From a gentle arrival to afternoon goodbyes, explore how play, meals, outdoor time, and rest can fit into a day.

We welcome inquiries for children as young as 5 months. Choosing care for a baby brings its own questions, and a conversation with Sandy is a good place to begin.
Speak with us about feeding, naps, transitions, daily communication, and the activities offered for your baby’s stage of development.
Ask about infant carePlease speak with Sandy about current infant routines and requirements before planning your child’s start.
Learning to express feelings, navigate frustration, and get along with others is a meaningful part of early childhood. Our approach centers on respectful, age-appropriate support.
Redirection, reassurance, and a teacher’s presence help children work through difficult moments. When a child needs a quieter moment, the focus is on support and connection, rather than isolation or punishment.
Ask Sandy about how positive guidance works in the program and request the current family guidance policy.
We’d love to tell you more about our community and hear what you’re looking for in a daycare.
